Summer Associate/Internships
We operate a Summer Associate program for 2-3 law students with a strong interest in child advocacy. Summer associates are paired with an experienced staff attorney and may work on a range of interesting projects such as: speaking as the attorney of record in court for a child client, drafting motions on behalf of child clients, assisting in witness and trial preparation, legislative drafting, and foster child adoptions. Our Summer Associate program runs from about mid-May to August. If you are interested in becoming a Summer Associate, send a cover letter, resume, and writing sample to Christine Ellertson, using the address listed on the homepage.
